Founded in 1979 by Ron Child in Chowchilla, California, CTL was built on the belief that great service starts with great people. Friendly communication, reliable on-time delivery, and hiring the best drivers weren’t just priorities, they were the foundation.
In 1987, the company relocated to Gresham, Oregon, positioning us in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Today, our headquarters in Ridgefield Washington continues to serve as a strategic hub for our operations. Alongside Child Truck Line, our brokerage division, Child Logistics, connects customers to shipping solutions across the country.
